Bingus Shared Loader v20

A Mod for Helldivers 2
Bingus Shared Loader akl_mod_preview_image
This mod is mandatory if you plan to use any of my mods.

Always place this mod last in the load order.

Starts any of my installed mods as well as the below supported third-party mods together. The loader has no gameplay effect by itself.

Supported mods created by me:
  • Better Stratagem Bounce
  • Hellpod Steering Unlocked
  • Reinforcement Beacons Fixed
  • Shallow Water Diving
  • Consistent Vaulting
  • Sentry Aim Retention
  • Controllable Hover Pack
  • Know Your Constellation
  • Enemy Collision Synchronized
  • Armory Preview Cache
  • Wide Angle Stratagems (Unreleased)
Supported mods created by third-party authors:
  • HUD Ballistic Trajectory Overlay
  • HUD Plus
  • Gore OFF (Requires patch from Nexus)
Each gameplay package owns its own Lua resource and is optional. A missing or failed mod does not prevent later modules from loading.

AI disclosure: GPT-6 Astra was used for this project's research, implementation, debugging, and documentation.

Third-party mods may report conflicts with the shared loader. This is normal and expected.
While all of my mods will always remain free and open source, you can help support my work and stay up to date on development over on Patreon:

Hellforged isn't the answer, it's a small splinter of the player-base, with no progression, no matchmaking, no mod freedom (everyone has to have the same mods) and will always be behind the main game as everything AH adds to the game Hellforge devs will have to backport into their mod because they HAVE TO stay on the old version for mods to work.

Bingus is acting foolishly for thinking that AH will somehow support mods in the future, they've already played their hand and showed their true intentions. Communication with them will only result with them wasting his time and leading him on, the same thing they did to Ironsights.

Guess we'll have to rely on the Chinese modders, at least they have the balls to bypass EAC for software WE OWN.
My man, I am 110% in your boat. I like the idea of Hellforged but what I loved about modding Helldivers wasn't just the mods, but playing with other people while my mods are on.

I liked using a modded Hover Pack to fly up on top of buildings in city maps and act as an overwatch sniper for my squad. I wasn't oneshotting Factory Striders or nuking D10 outposts off the map, I was just having fun with random people, and that was taken away from me because of some people thieving super credits.

And Bingus doesn't want to help us anymore.

The tragic irony of it all is that normal modders like myself who were just buffing some items for fun (and not to ruin the game) are the majority of the modders, and cheaters were the teeny tiny minority, yet Arrowhead stops all of us equally from doing anything.

I have Arrowhead Fatigue.

Correction. Arrowhead only stopped us from doing anything. Cheaters still get to cheat since EAC day 1 lol.
Yeah absolutely.

And then some people are like "mayne, just go play Hellforge"

Hellforge separates me from the mainstream matchmaking pool though. See my problem is this; I was a very happy modder for Helldivers 2. I played honorably and didn't ruin the game for anyone who joined my lobbies.

The most I did was mod my hoverpack to make me fly really high to get onto cliffs/buildings so I can provide sniper overwatch to my squad. It's obviously a far cry from the people shooting hellbombs. Yet I am placed in the same pool as those cheaters?

If I want to play with those mods, I have to go to the Quarantine Zone (i.e. Hellforge) where the script kiddies get to blow everything up to their hearts' content instead of having an actual tactical and strategic mission with highground sniper overwatch?

It's a joke. The whole situation is a joke. They shouldn't have implemented EAC. They could have added sanity checks to the Galactic War progression and server-side Super Credit earning/add a hardcoded limit of earnable SC per mission. EAC just ruins it for all of us.

Funny you should mention that... the former and latter have already been implemented. And you guessed it, it stopped no one but the players.

I can't believe bingus is moralfaging at the last minutes he's needed the most, what a loser cuck.
hopefully CN bros will help goin forward.
He just doesn't want to get sued. Making anticheat bypasses is actually a genuinely illegal thing to do. Bypassing Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) or encryption layers violates anti-circumvention laws like the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA Section 1201) and the EU InfoSoc Directive.

The good news is that CN bros (and sisters) are basically impervious to Arrowhead litigation.

The bad news is that Easy Anti Cheat allows for the ability to ban people from the game, which Arrowhead previously lacked, so if they want, they can lock you out of the game if they find out you're bypassing the anti cheat.

Bingus surrendered to Arrowhead because he didn't want to face legal prosecution, he didn't want to spit in the face of developers who were supportive of his mods (which are non-cheaty), and he wants to keep the communication channel open with them so that there can remain the potential of modded public lobbies in the game in the future (so that modders aren't quarantined to Hellforge.)

Any ETA on fix?
He abandoned live Helldivers 2 to work on Hellforge. Will be missed, but we will continue to make mods without his loader. People are remaking his QoL mods, check them out.
