Buffs last until you die or you cancel them, and every weapon in the game can now be buffed. No Convergence, no overhaul, nothing else required. Two changes only: effectEndurance -> -1 in SpEffectParam and isEnhance -> 1 in EquipParamWeapon.
VERSION 2.2 - STARTUP CRASH FIX
- 2.2 fixes a crash at startup. v2.0 and v2.1 could crash Elden Ring a few seconds after launch. Same buffs, nothing else changed. If your game crashed at startup, update to 2.2.
- Rebuilt for the current Elden Ring patch (2.7.1.0). Older files do not match this patch - please update.
- Greases, aromatics, Ash of War buffs, consumables and Wondrous Physick are now covered. Earlier versions only ever touched spell buffs, so the mod went from 65 effects to as many as 302.
- NEW: every weapon can be buffed. All the somber and unique weapons that normally refuse pine resin and greases now accept them (2543 entries, counting every affinity and upgrade level).
- Four editions, matching the Convergence version of this mod, so you can pick how far it goes. Every edition still contains everything the old single file had.
THE FOUR FILES
Pick one file. They are all a single regulation.bin and differ only in how much is made permanent. Every edition includes the buffable-weapon change.
- V1 Canalpa Edition MAIN - 223 effects. The curated set - the buffs you actually want permanent.
- V2 Weapon Buffs Only - 130 effects. Weapon buffs only: greases and weapon-enchant spells.
- V3 All Buffs and AoW - 265 effects. Everything except Wondrous Physick.
- V4 Everything - 300 effects. Everything, including Wondrous Physick tears.
INSTALL
- Back up your regulation.bin.
- Drop in the regulation.bin from the file you picked, overwriting.
- Offline only. Any regulation edit trips Easy Anti-Cheat.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Buffs still end when you die, and a weapon enchant is still replaced by the next one you apply.
- Most patched buffs do not clear when resting at a site of grace; a handful do.
- A few effects are shared with NPC casters, so enemies who cast those spells keep them too.
- This is for vanilla Elden Ring. If you play The Convergence, use the Convergence version of this mod instead - never both.
- Deliberately NOT made permanent, because it would break the game: anything that ticks damage on you (Fire's Deadly Sin), tiered effects that have to escalate (Cosmic Surge, Shriek of Sorrow), status and debuff rows that happen to target you (Destined Death's max-HP cut, Winged Scythe's no-flask penalty, poison and frostbite build-up), armour and talisman procs, and every enemy-side row.
