InstantControlOnLoad by BSHarou
=====================================
After you load a save and the game plays the walking towards "door" animation, it then holds the camera and the
character for a few seconds after the world appears. With this plugin:
- The mouse turns the camera as soon as the world is there.
- The mouse cursor that the game shows after a load goes away on the first mouse movement (no key press
needed).
- From the moment the character steps through the door, your first game action gives you control at once:
moving, attacking, jumping, dodging, guarding, running, interacting or crouching. Moving the mouse doesn't
count. If you press nothing, the intro plays out exactly as usual.
When you act, the plugin does what the intro's own hand-over does a few seconds later: it lifts the intro's
input blocks, puts the character into its idle stance and recomputes who controls it, and keeps the rest of
the intro from pulling the character back. The camera zoom and the rest of the scene keep playing.
Requirements
------------
- Crimson Desert v2.04 (made with game exe 1.0.0.3549; see "After a game update").
- Definitive Mod Manager (DMM), or any other ASI loader.
Install
-------
Add InstantControlOnLoad.asi to DMM and enable it on the ASI Mods page.
Uninstall
---------
Disable or remove it in DMM.
After a game update
-------------------
The plugin finds everything it needs by searching the game at start-up, so updates that only move code don't
break it. If something isn't found, it changes nothing and bin64\InstantControlOnLoad.log says what; the game
then simply behaves as without the plugin.
Compatibility
-------------
- No game files are replaced.
- Only affects the few seconds after a load: the intro's camera, the post-load cursor and the hand-over.
- bin64\InstantControlOnLoad.log notes when it acted (one line per load).
