R/40-K Trident-Type Overcharged Battery Conversion

The wait is over, Helldivers!

After an extensive series of field tests with the R/40-K Marksman Rifle on the Terminid front, ST Construction has completed a more aggressive conversion of the R/40-K, with a focus on enhancing its close-quarters performance.

Here are the details of the modifications:

• Projectile Velocity: Increased to 1,000 m/s. Deliver democracy before the enemy even has time to regret its life choices!
• Projectile Count: Increased from 1 to 6. Because one bullet of liberty was simply not enough to satisfy the demands of freedom! Each trigger pull now unleashes a glorious volley of six projectiles, ensuring that even the most treacherous Terminid scum cannot escape the righteous judgment of Super Earth.
• Damage per Projectile: Reduced to 45, resulting in a total damage of 270 per shot. Six times the projectiles, six times the opportunities to remind our enemies why opposing democracy is a terminal mistake!
• Durable Damage per Projectile: Reduced to 15, resulting in a total durable damage of 90 per shot. Even the toughest biological abominations will learn that no amount of chitin can protect them from the march of liberty!
• Stagger: Unchanged. However, knockback force has been increased to 20. Our enemies will not merely be stopped in their tracks; they will be personally escorted away from the battlefield by the irresistible force of democracy!
• Ergonomics: Increased to 75. Because a true defender of liberty must remain swift, responsive, and ready to deliver righteous punishment at a moment's notice!
• Weapon Sway: Reduced to 0.7. With improved weapon stability, Helldivers can now deliver the Emperor—correction, the Super Earth High Command—approved dose of freedom with greater precision!
• Horizontal Spread: Increased to 135. Specifically calibrated to counter the sideways lunges of those freedom-hating Terminid scum. Run, crawl, leap, or flail all you want, you oversized bags of undemocratic instincts! There is nowhere to hide from the righteous spread of liberty!
• Vertical Spread: Increased to 35, delivering a 66.6% improvement in hit probability! Our engineers assure us that this figure is entirely consistent with the principles of Super Earth mathematics. Any further questions regarding its validity may be submitted directly to your nearest Democracy Officer.
• Rate of Fire: Increased to 240 RPM through an overcharged battery modification. More shots, more freedom, less time wasted listening to the pathetic death rattles of our enemies!
• Fire Modes: Semi-automatic mode has been PERMANENTLY REMOVED. Why settle for measured, deliberate shots when you can drown the enemies of Democracy in an uninterrupted torrent of righteous fire? Hold down the trigger and let the glorious machinery of Super Earth do the talking!
• Magazine Capacity: Increased to 15 rounds through the overcharged battery modification. Enjoy an extended duration of sustained suppressive fire, allowing Helldivers to maintain the pressure until every last undemocratic lifeform has been thoroughly persuaded to reconsider its political affiliations!
• Spare Magazines: Following several reports from Helldivers of “questionable credibility” concerning the potential hazards of the newly overcharged batteries, High Command has reluctantly ordered a temporary reduction in spare magazine capacity to 6 magazines.

While ST Construction maintains that the batteries have been developed in accordance with all applicable Super Earth safety regulations, Command considers it prudent to minimize the possibility of unnecessary internal casualties.

After all, a dead Helldiver cannot spread democracy.

Helldivers are reminded that unauthorized speculation regarding battery safety constitutes an entirely separate matter, best discussed with a Democracy Officer in a suitably supervised environment.
