Vanilla Plus Megapack v14

A Mod for Helldivers 2
Vanilla Plus Megapack akl_mod_preview_image
Make sure you have the latest version of Bingus Shared Loader before downloading this mod.

All of the CowboyBingus Helldivers 2 gameplay mods in one install. The following mods are included and maintained in this pack:
  • Better Stratagem Bounce
  • Hellpod Steering Unlocked
  • Reinforcement Beacons Fixed
  • Shallow Water Diving
  • Consistent Vaulting
  • Sentry Aim Retention
  • Enemy Collision Synchronized
All of my mods are client-side only and do not mechanically change the way other players' games operate.

This mod can technically be safely installed without removing my other individual mods. However, I'd recommend removing or disabling them just to be safe, and placing this mod just above Bingus Shared Loader in the mod loader (second-to-last).

AI disclosure:
GPT-6 Astra was used for this project's research, implementation, debugging, and documentation.

You'll be happy to hear then that I am currently working on vehicle physics (in addition to other projects), which includes the Bastion specifically.
for the future would re enabling reload while on car be added back? or maybe fix (dunno if its just me) pressing c used to instantly change the seat if empty, now it sometimes doesn't work while driving or if the car is moving, leading to pressing c various times till it decides to work again

Reloading inside & outside car seat currently works! As for seat swapping, the game sometimes goes on deaf ears, soo you gotta spam C a couple times till helldiver scoots over, in my experience at least. I regularly do karting games where my friend blasts spawners with autocannon, speeding every outpost in squids & bugs haha~ Requires a master class driver though! And a special keybind for programmable ammo swapping in car seat, mhm-mhm.

This might be outside of what you want to achieve with your mods but is there any chance of you looking at mech customization? I've seen it done in the CGW but I'm hesitant to download it.

Another quality of life fix suggestion for you. Again, I'm not sure if it falls within or out of what you can get working. So, my apologies if it doesn't. "Makes Helldivers switch back to their primary instead of secondary when wielding a stratagem weapon. Primarily preventing common accidents with the GP-20 Ultimatum." As far as I understand it's not something that can really be fixed with in-game settings but maybe I'm also wrong on that.

Just because it bears asking, Do you, (or anyone else) think usage of these mods could result in being "banned" from the game? I would like to use them I've just spent way too much time playing (1000+hrs) to feel like risking it all. An explanation on the yes or no would be appreciated.

Thx for these GREAT mods!

Hey, not sure if you noticed, but in Arsenal the Name of a mod does NOT update when you update it (I believe it is on purpose, so that those who edit the name do not have to do it every time).
Consequently, you may want to add the version number in the Description of the mod manifest, rather than in the Name.

Cheers!

I'm curious how you are updating the mods? The names have updated every time for myself.

If there's a separate way people are updating that can be fixed, I'd like to look into it.

Oh, that's strange then.
I just add the mod via pointing to the zip file, which installs/updates the existing one on the list.

That's very odd. I've tried drag-and-drop, using the "add a mod" interface, both with and without deleting the mod first. The name has updated every time. Which Arsenal version are you using?
