No Camera Fade
No Transparency Cull - Neverness to Everness

Overview:
This mod removes the dither/transparency fade effect that the game applies to characters when they get close to the camera. By default, NTE fades out (culls) nearby characters using a stencil-based dither overlay, this mod disables that effect entirely, keeping characters fully visible at all times.

What does this mod do?:
  • Removes the camera proximity dither effect
  • Characters remain fully opaque when near the camera
  • No more partial transparency during close-up angles
  • Affects all party members (slots 1–4)

Requirements:
  • Platform: PC (Steam / Epic)
  • Game Version: Latest (tested on current patch)
  • Mod Loader: Any standard UE4 pak-based mod loader (place in ~mods/ folder)

Installation:
  1. Download this mod
  2. Navigate to your NTE game directory C:\Neverness To Everness\Client\WindowsNoEditor\HT\Content\Paks\~mods
  3. Place the NoFade_P.pak,utoc,ucas,sig file into: NTE\Content\Paks\~mods\
  4. Create the ~mods folder if it doesn't exist
  5. Launch the game, no further setup is required

Uninstallation:
Just remove NoFade_P.pak from the ~mods folder and restart the game.

Known issues:
  • This is an early release, edge cases may exist in certain scenes or cutscenes.
  • Party members (slots 1 or up to 4) when you enter in-game, and will cause all party members to be invisible.

Upload Permission:
  • You are strictly forbidden from uploading this file to any other website.

When using it in conjunction with the Mint maid suit and open pyjamas mods, this makes all characters but Zero disappear.

Thanks for the report, it's in the description said,

Known issues:
  • This is an early release, edge cases may exist in certain scenes or cutscenes.
  • Party members (slots 1 or up to 4) when you enter in-game, and will cause all party members to be invisible.

This is a BETA, not a final release yet. I am working on fixing the issue.

I'm following the instructions, but it's not working. Do I need to extract the folder?

Do I need to leave it as is in a new folder?

Go to NTE\Content\Paks\ and create folder called ~mods and then extract your mods to ~mods (Mod_P.pak,utoc,sig,ucas)

Can confirm the other reports with one caveat the dissapearing is not tied to zero specifically but rather who you load in as so for example as others if you load in as zero only zero appears anyone else switching in is invisible however if you load in on another character like i did with nanally other party members including zero will be invisible on switch in

EDIT: I also discovered that if using the NEMIx3dmoto mod it works fine the bug seems to only affect when not using NEMI
